Mapa de calor(Heat map) This tool allows users to locate on a map of Spain, with municipal accuracy, the energy demand of consumers belonging to the main sectors of activity, as well as facilities that can generate residual heat or cold, including those that use energy from renewable sources. (*)
Segunda evaluación completa del potencial de calefacción y refrigeración eficientes(Second comprehensive assessment of the potential for efficient heating and cooling) It includes an overview of existing heating and cooling in the main consumer sectors (residential, tertiary, and industrial), characterizing their demand, analyzing the technical potential of alternative technologies, and conducting an economic analysis to determine a potentially cost-effective solution for society as a whole.
(*)In accordance with Commission Delegated Regulation 2019/826 of March 4, 2019, amending Annex VIII to Directive 2012/27/EU, Member States must submit an assessment of their potential for efficiency in heating and cooling. The Delegated Regulation also urges Member States to include in the assessment of the potential for efficient heating and cooling a map covering the entire national territory showing areas of heating and cooling demand and supply points, as well as district heating transmission facilities.
